At first I am very hard to choose the topic of presentation,but I still decide to choose the very first chinese style animation <The Proud General>
Hua Jun wu was famous cartonist at that time,I hardly can see this style comics now,mainly because people are force to not tell the truth of society which is pretty pathetic.Also the reference to Peking opera really lead a good start of Chinese style and the process of ink animation, actually I am very like their face mask, I use to do research of different type of face mask ,like Japanese neng mask /nuo opera/Tabat face mask/Hopi mask ,and so on, during the research I can find that the attitude to death and life are quite different to now a days, also after this presentation, I really want to use mask or other elements in my animation, hope it can make good visual effects as chinese animation in the past.
